TECMO正式推出《4D零》，这是以PS2恐怖游戏《零 红蝶》故事原作改编的立体电影，由VSL公司负责制作，《零 红蝶》游戏CG动画导演下山天执导。影片不仅重现了原作游戏里的日式惊悚恐怖氛围，逼真的立体视觉更让观众承受强大压力，惊悚感倍增。作为VSL（株式会社Visualscience研究所）事业部长的北岛（《零 红蝶》的CG动画制作监督）表示，《4D零》是他绝对自信之作，没有丝毫暴力成分，却能有力地营造出恐怖氛围。借助3D眼镜与动感椅的体感效果，观众可以用身体去感受这份恐怖。该电影预定于2004年7月17日起在日本各地巡回放映。 在昔日祭奠之日突然消失的皆神村，曾执行过以牺牲双子巫女来封住黄泉入口的神秘祭祀。如今，双子姊妹澪、茧迷路闯入了这个村子，死者的冤魂再度从黑暗中苏醒，而这一次轮到她们去完成“红贽祭”了……

Harry Parker in apartment 4-D reads a lot of pulp fiction and watches a lot of late-night TV. That lends an air of inauthenticity to the story he tells his wife in the morning about what happened at two A.M. It seems the blonde in 3-D needed him to play Sir Galahad. At two A.M., she has a man in her apartment. And he's dead. "Miss Elliot, I can't get involved in a murder," says Harry. "I'm a married man."
